SSC GD Recruitment Notification 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the much-awaited notification for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) posts in various forces, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). The notification is for a total of 39481 vacancies, out of which 15094 are for male candidates and 24387 are for female candidates.

Exam Pattern
The CBE will consist of 80 objective-type questions, each carrying 2 marks
The questions will be based on General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and Hindi/English
The duration of the exam will be 1 hour
Salary
The salary for the selected candidates will be in the range of Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 per month, as per the 7th Pay Commission
The in-hand salary will be approximately Rs. 23,527 per month after deducting around Rs. 2,369 for contributory funds like CGHS and CGEGIS
Exam Centers
The exam will be conducted in 13 regional languages, including Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu
Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
The PET will consist of a 5 km run in 24 minutes for male candidates and a 1.6 km run in 8.5 minutes for female candidates
The candidates will also be required to clear a long jump of 14 feet for male candidates and 10 feet for female candidates
Physical Standard Test (PST)
The PST will consist of a height test, chest test, and weight test
The candidates will be required to meet the minimum physical standards as specified in the notification
Detailed Medical Examination (DME)
The DME will be conducted to check the medical fitness of the candidates
The candidates will be required to undergo a medical examination by a medical board
